The helmet may also be used as personal protection equipment in minor
and short grinding works (grinding metal with flap discs). It is not a
suitable piece of personal protection for metal grinding with grinding
discs.
The helmet has a large,
x5
mm viewing area. The automatic

darkening filter goes dark after an arc occurs and clears when welding is
complete.
The helmet provides a complete protec tion against UV/IR
(ultraviolet/infrared) radiation even with shade deactivated. Two
sensors guarantee correct operation of the helmet under all conditions
and in all positions.
The helmet can be used right away. It has only to be adjusted to welder's
head size, and the correct operating parameters have to be set.
WARNING! The welding helmet conforms to welding
safety standards.
Safe use of this product requires appropriate
welding training. It should be used by trained welders only.
Do not use the helmet without a protective glass or filter.
Do not use the helmet if any of its elements are damaged. Use at
ambient temperatures of -5 C to +55 C.

WARNING!
This welding helmet must not be used for cutting
with laser or oxyacetylene torches. The helmet does
not protect against explosive or corrosive substances.
The helmet does not protect against heavy impact, for example
with grinding discs.
Never put the helmet on hot surfaces.
2. HELMET DESIGN:
The auto darkening welding helmet consists of the following three basic
modules:
helmet body made of thermostable, durable, spatter-resistant
polymer;
headgear;
auto darkening filter.

4. RECOMMENDED SHADES:
The table below presents recommended shades for specific welding
methods and currents. The following also affect the shade of a filter:
– type of base metal;
– light level (values in the table refer to average working conditions
where the distance between eyes and weld puddle is about 50 cm and
average light intensity is about 100 lx);
– operator's position in relation to the flame or electric arc. If the welder
leans over the workpiece or has his hands stretched, at least one
