have LEDs that reflect the drive and system states (Fig.
5.A.). The following table shows the different LED
states and their indications.

TeChNICAl NOTe:
The easiest way to tell the
difference between a blinking LED and a flashing
LED is that flashing stops when the read/write ac-
tivity is finished, and blinking does not stop. The
blink rate is slower, too, but the difference in speed
is more difficult to detect visually.
