General Safety Warnings for the electric tacker

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

• The plug of the electric tool must corresponds to the

used socket type. You should never modify the plug in

any way. Do not use electrical adapters with electric tools

equipped with grounding system

• Do not use electric tools when raining and do not use

in damp places.

• Never use the cable for carrying the tacker and do not

pull it to disconnect by the socket. Keep the cable away

from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.

• If you can not avoid using an electric tool in a damp

place, use a power supply protected by a differential

switch (RCD). The use of a differential switch (RCD)

reduces the risk of an electric shock

WORKPLACE SAFETY

•  Keep clean and well lighted the work area

• Do not operate power tools in explosive environment,

such as in presence of liquids, gases or dusts.

• Keep children and other people at a safe distance

during the operation of the electric tool.

PERSONAL SAFETY

• Do not get distracted during use, always check what

you are doing and use common sense when operating

electric tools. Do not use the electric tool when you

are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or

medications. A moment of inattention while operating

electric tools may cause serious personal injury.

• Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye

protection. Protection devices such as dust masks, non-

slip safety shoes, safety helmet or ear protection, reduce

the possibility of suffering personal injury.

•  Do not shoot empty or accidentally. Make sure that the

switch is in the off position before connecting the tool to

the mains or battery packs, before taking it or transport

it. Carry electrical tools with your finger on the switch or

connect to the mains with the switch in the on position

can cause accidents.

• Do not overreach during the use. Always keep the

position and equilibrium. This allows better control of

the tool in case of unexpected situations

•  Dress appropriately for the work that you are doing. Do

not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair collected.

Clothing and gloves must be kept away from the moving

parts of the products.

• If there are devices to be connected to installations

for the extraction and collection of dust, sure they are

connected and used in an appropriate manner. The use

of these devices can reduce problems with dust.

USE AND MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRIC TOOLS

• Do not force the use of the electric tool. Always

use an appropriate tool to perform the operation. The

proper use of the tool allows you to perform the work

with greater efficiency and safety within the limits and

parameters of recommended levels

• Do not use the power tool if the switch on and off

does not fire properly. Any power tool that can not be

controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be

subjected to repairs

•  Disconnect the plug from the power supply and/or the

group of batteries of the power tool before making any

adjustments, changing the accessorizes or storing the

tool. These preventive safety measures reduce the risk

of accidentally starting of the electric tool .

• Store the unused tool out of the reach of children and

do not allow their use to inexperienced persons or who

doesn’t know these instructions. The electric tools are

dangerous if used by inexperienced persons.

• Always carry out necessary maintenance on electric

tools. Check the possible incorrect assembly or locking

of moving parts, any possible breakage of the parts and

any other condition that may affect the operation of

electric tools. If damaged please repair the tools before

using it again. Many accidents are caused by the bad

maintenance of the tool

• Use the electric tool in accordance with these

instructions, consider the working conditions and the

work to be performed.

SUPPORT

• Have the power tool repaired only by qualified

technicians and use only original replacement parts. This

ensures the continued safety of the tool.

TACKER SAFETY WARNINGS

• Always assume that the tool contains fasteners.

Careless handling of the tacker can result in unexpected

firing of fasteners and personal injury.

• Do not point the tool towards yourself or anyone

nearby. Unexpected triggering will discharge the fastener

causing an injury.

•  Do not actuate the tool unless the tool is placed firmly

against the workpiece. If the tool is not contact with the

workpiece, the fastener may be deflected away from

your target.

• Disconnect the tool from the power source when the

fastener jams in the tool. While removing a jammed

fastener, the tacker may be accidentally activated if it

plugged in.

• Use caution while removing a jammed fastener. The

mechanism may be under compression and the fastener

may be forcefully discharged while attempting to free

a jammed condition. When fastening electrical cables,

make sure the cables are not energized.

Hold the tacker only by insulated gripping surfaces. Use

only fasteners designed for electrical cable installations.
