Email
Email allows you to access email accounts
from service providers that support POP3,
IMAP or Exchange.
Configure an Email Account
The first time you launch Email , you will be
asked to configure an email account.
1. From the home screen, touch
Main Menu
icon .
2. At the main menu, touch Email .
3. At the email screen, enter the email
address.
4. Enter the password.
5. Touch
Next to continue. The device
automatically retrieves your email settings.
6. Enter a nickname for your account, if
needed.
7. Enter the name that is displayed on
outgoing messages.
8. Touch Done to add the email account.
If you do not use a common email provider,
you may need to manually configure your
settings. Touch
Manual setup to access the
advanced options.
View an Email Account
1. From the home screen, touch Main Menu
icon .
2. At the main menu, touch Email .
3. At the accounts list, touch the account you
want to view. If you only have one account,
you will skip this step.
4. At the email screen, you can do one of the
following:
– Touch an email to view it.
– Touch and hold an email to access
features for that specific email.
– Press the Menu key to access more
features.
Note: To select multiple emails, touch the
check box next to the emails. Touch the check
box again to deselect. Options that apply to
multiple emails appear at the bottom of the
screen.
Create an Email
1. From the home screen, touch Main Menu
icon .
2. At the main menu, touch Email .
3. At the accounts list, touch the account you
want to view. If you only have one account,
you will skip this step.
4. At the email screen, press the Menu key.
5. Touch Compose .
6. At the compose screen, enter a recipient’s
email address.
7. Enter a subject. Touch and hold the text
entry field to access more text entry
features.
