View Screen Panels
The home screen has five panels to place
shortcuts and widgets on.
1. From the home screen, scroll to the left or
right see another panel.
2. At any screen panel, you can do the
following:
– Touch
Call icon
to make calls with
Phone
.
– Touch
Main Menu icon
to access the
main menu.
– Touch
Browser icon
to surf the Internet
with
Browser
.
– Touch and hold the screen to access
features specific for that panel.
– Press the
Menu
key to access more
features.
– Press the
Home
key to return to the
center panel of your five panels.
Note:
The screen panel indicators at the
bottom of the screen show which panel you are
currently viewing.
Device Key Options
Your device has dedicated keys that access the
following features.
Power Device On
To turn the device on, press and hold the
Power
key until the screen turns on.
Power Device Off
1. To power the device off, press and hold the
Power
key.
2. Touch
Power off
.
3. Touch
OK
to confirm the power off
request.
Enable Airplane Mode
While in an airplane, it is normally required
that you turn off your mobile device because it
emits RF signals that interfere with air traffic
control. In airplane mode, however, your
device does not emit RF signals. You cannot
make or receive calls, send text messages, use
a browser or bluetooth devices, but you can
play games, use the calendar, set the clock, and
make emergency calls to designated
emergency numbers. Please check with
uniformed personnel before operating your
device in airplane mode.
1. To enable airplane mode, press and hold the
Power
key.
2. Touch
Airplane mode
. The airplane mode
icon will appear on the status bar.
To disable airplane mode, repeat the steps.
