To enable your device’s Location feature via GPS:
1. Press
Home > Menu > Settings >
Location & security .

Tap
Use GPS satellites
. (A check mark indicates this
feature is enabled.)

This service uses available GPS to pinpoint your
location within certain applications such as
Google Maps.
Adding and Synchronizing
Accounts
The
Accounts & sync
menu lets you add and manage
your accounts and synchronizes the calendar or
contacts on your device.
Synchronizing Your Google Account
If you have signed in with a Google account on your
device, it will be displayed as a default Google account
in
Accounts & sync .
To add an additional Google account:
1. Press
Home > Menu > Settings >
Accounts & sync
.
2.
Tap
Add account > Google
.
3.
Tap Next > Sign in .
4.
Tap the Username (@gmail.com) and Password
fields and enter your information.
Note:
If you do not already have a Google account, tap
Create (instead of Sign in ) and follow the onscreen
prompts to create your new account. (See “Creating a
Google Account” on page 48.)
