Quick Responses
You can modify the preset text messages to send when you reject an incoming call and send a
text message.
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Tools & Settings > 1.
Settings > Call settings > Quick responses .
Highlight a message and press the Center soft key [Edit] . 2.
Edit it and press the Center soft key [Save] . 3.
Tip: To restore the default messages, press the Left soft key [All reset] .
Set Up Speed Dialing
You can store up to 99 numbers in your phone’s speed dial memory. To make a call using
speed dial, see
Call Using a Speed Dial Number .
To assign a speed dial location:
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Tools & Settings > 1.
Settings > Call settings > Speed dial setup .
Highlight an available speed dial location and press the Center soft key [Set] . 2.
Tip: To replace a current assignment, select a location and press the Center soft key
[Replace] .
Highlight a contact and press the Center soft key [Select] . 3.
To remove a number from a speed dial location:
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Tools & Settings > 1.
Settings > Call settings > Speed dial setup .
Highlight the assigned contact you want to remove and press the Left soft key 2.
[Remove] .
Press the Left soft key [Yes] . 3.
Voicemail Settings
You should set up your voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your phone is activated.
