Text Options
The text entry options menu allows you to specify additional features to use during the text entry
process.
► From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key
[Menu] > Tools & Settings >
Settings > Phone settings > Language & input > Text options .

Set Programmable Key
You can assign your favorite behavior to the PTT/Programmable key. To call up the assigned
function, simply press the key located on the left side of the phone.
To use as a PTT key:
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Tools & Settings > 1.
Settings > Phone settings > Programmable key / PTT+ > PTT+ .
Select On or Off to turn the PTT function on or off. 2.

To assign other function:
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Tools & Settings > 1.
Settings > Phone settings > Programmable key / PTT+ > Programmable key .
Highlight a function and press the Center soft key [Set] . 2.
Set Navigation Key Shortcuts
You can use the Navigation keys as shortcuts to access specific menu items directly from the
Idle screen. You can reassign the default shortcuts to the menu items you choose.
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key [Menu] > Tools & Settings > 1.
Settings > Phone settings > Navigation keys .
Highlight the Navigation key you wish to reassign and press the Center soft key 2.
[Select] .
