Align the tabs of the battery cover with the slots (
) and press the battery cover
down until it snaps into place (
).

to turn the phone on.
If your phone is activated, it will search for Sprint service and enter standby mode.

3. Make your first call.
Use your keyboard to enter a phone number.

Your phone’s battery should have enough charge for your phone to turn on and find a
signal, set up your voicemail, and make a call. You should fully charge your battery as
soon as possible. See

Activate Your Phone
Depending on your account or how and where you purchased your phone, it may be ready to
use or you may need to activate it on your Sprint account.
● If you purchased your phone at a Sprint Store, it is probably activated and ready to use.
● If you received your phone in the mail and it is for a new Sprint account or a new line of
service, it is designed to activate automatically. To confirm your activation, make a
phone call.
● If you received your phone in the mail and it is going to be activated on an existing
number on your account (you
’re swapping phones), you can activate on your computer
online or directly on your phone.
