Excessive water pressure may cause water seepage and
deterioration of wheel bearings, brakes, engine and
transmission seals and electrical devices. Expensive repair bills
can result from high-pressure water and detergent intrusion,
which can be caused by a coin-operated car wash or even a
small, home-style pressure washer. Damage caused by water
intrusion of this type is not a defect, and repairs are not covered
by the KYMCO Limited Warranty.
C.
Rinse the dirt and degreaser off with a garden hose
under normal pressure. Use only enough water pressure
to rinse the engine clean.
D.
Once the majority of the dirt has been rinsed off, wash all
of the surfaces with warm water and a mild, detergent-
type soap. Small brushes, such as a tapered bottle brush
or and old toothbrush, are effective for cleaning hard-to-
reach areas.
E.
Rinse the ATV off immediately with clean water and dry
all surfaces with a chamois, clean towel of soft absorbent
cloth.
F.
If the ATV is equipped with a chain, dry the chain and
lubricate it to prevent rust.
G.
Lubricate other items, such as the exposed ends of
control cables, to dissipate any moisture and prevent
corrosion.
