For TracNet’s broadband service to work, the broadband satellite
for your particular system (noted on the first page of this
manual) must be programmed as Satellite A.
For example, if your
region’s broadband satellite is Hotbird WB and your TV satellite
is Astra1, the screen should display:
“SATINSTALL,HOTBIRDWB,ASTRA1”
If the correct broadband satellite is not programmed as
Satellite A, follow the steps below to reprogram the TracVision
antenna’s satellite pair.
1. Type
HALT
in the “Antenna Command” box, then
press
Enter
.
2. Type
DEBUGON
then press
Enter
.
3. Type the SATINSTALL command as shown below
then press
Enter
:
Command:
SATINSTALL,<sat_a_name>,<sat_b_name>
Where:
<sat_a_name> = the name of your broadband
satellite
(see the first page of this manual)
<sat_b_name> = the name of your choice for
Satellite B
You can set the antenna’s alternate satellite
(Satellite B) to any TV satellite that can pair with
the broadband satellite.
To learn which TV satellites
can be paired with the broadband satellite, refer to your
TracVision Owner’s Manual or Technical Manual.
If
you do not need to program a second satellite,
re-enter the name of the broadband satellite as
Satellite B.
4. Type
ZAP
then press
Enter
.
The TracVision
antenna restarts.
5. Follow the steps in the next section,
“Satellites Not
Updated in Server Database,”
to update the satellite
configuration in the server’s database.
