Transport position
The machine is set to the
transport position in the following
way:
•
Remove the pin.
• Open the guards around the
machine's cutterbar.
• Activate the tractor's lift arms
and raise the machine
completely free of the ground.
• Check that the lock is locked
when the cutting unit is in the
transport position.
• Release the hydraulic
pressure in the machine.
• Pull in the cord and release
the lock catch.
• Hold in the string and activate
the tractor's hydraulics and
the machine will be raised up
to the transport position.
• Release the string once the
cutting unit is raised
approximately halfway up.
• Activate and lower the
tractor's lift arms down to the
fixed working height.
NOTE: When the machine is in
the transport position, the
hydraulic system must be
depressurized.
