Childproof lock
The childproof lock serves the purpose of preventing children from
switching on the induction hob either accidentally or intentionally. The
controls are blocked here.
Switching on the childproof lock
1. Press the
on/off key
of the hob (approx. 1 sec.) in order to
switch the entire hob on.
2. Then immediately press the M
inus key
and the right
cooking
zone selection key
/ simultaneously.
3. Then press the same
cooking zone selection key
/ in
order to activate the childproof lock. The power setting indicators
will show an L for child lock, the controls will be disabled and the
hob will switch off.

5. Press the
ON/Off key
of the hob .
6. Then immediately press simultaneously the
Minus key
and
the
cooking zone selection key
/
at the right side.
7. Then press the
Minus key
in order to deactivate the child-
proof lock. The L will go off.
De-activating the childproof lock for one cooking pro-
cedure only
This is only possible if the childproof lock has been switched on ac-
cording to points 1-3.

Press the
ON/Off key
of the hob .
•
Then immediately press simultaneously the
Minus key
and the
cooking zone selection key
at the right side /
gleichzeitig betätigen. Once the L has gone off, the user may
switch a cooking zone on.
•
When the hob is switched off the childproof lock will be activated
again (switched on).
Operation
Important
In the event of a power cut the childproof lock will not be can-
celled, i.e. it remains activated.
