Regularly clean the build up between the
conditioning hood and the support tube:
- Remove the split pins on both tube ends.
- Remove the rear part of the protection cover.
- Clean and reassemble the unit.
10.3 Lubrication
Except when lubricating the intermediate pto-shaft,
the machine must always be in transport position for
any maintenance or repair work (knife replacement,
lubrication, etc).
The pictorials show the points to be greased.
- Clean grease nipples before greasing.
- Lubricate with multi-purpose grease grade
NLGI 2
.
- Lubricate with all purpose oil SAE 80W90
10.3.1 PTO shaft
Before using the machine for the first time:
- Grease the transmission.
In intensive use, it is recommended to
proceed with greasing at closer intervals:
• very dusty conditions.
• dry conditions.
