7. Instructions for transport

7.1

Putting the machine into
transport position

The machine is in transport position.

Before placing the machine into transport
position:

- Disengage tractor PTO.
- Wait until the rotating parts have come to a

complete stop.

- Check that nobody is within the machine

pivoting area.

- If there is someone, make sure the person

moves away.

From the working position:

- Pressurize the transport/work position cylinder to

place the mowing unit in working position.

- Fully lift tractor lift linkage.
- Pull on cord to release latch.
- Activate the dual-effect hydraulic distributor to put

the machine into transport position.

- Release cord:

• The machine automatically locks in transport

position.

- If the machine is adjusted for wide spreading,

completely fold the right swath shield inwards
underneath the conditioning hood to reduce the
machine dimensions.

Make sure that the rear tractor traffic lighting
stays visible.
