When this circulation has ended, do the
replacement job. During cooling, the fluid's
circulating noise is heard.
• Do not apply oil to the o-ring of the filter.
M6L-111
1. Place a stand under the DEF/AdBlue
®
tank unit.
2. Remove 3 nuts from the underside and 2 bolts from
the top side of the tank unit.
3. Move the unit by pushing the stand forward to
reveal the DEF/AdBlue
®
pump cover.
4. Remove 2 bolts and then remove the pump cover.

(A) “MOVE”
5. Clean around the plug and remove the plug.
6. Loosen the top of the filter assembly and remove it
from the pump.
7. Replace the filter assembly with a new one.

NOTE :
• Even after stopping the engine, the injector
cooling DEF/AdBlue
®
fluid continues to
circulate through the circuit for a couple of
minutes.
When this circulation has ended, do the
