16.3 Installing the 12-V battery

Position the 12-V battery in the battery compartment.
12 V battery (HTZ12A-BS) ( p. 286)
The battery terminals face opposite the direction of travel.

Position battery support bracket

Mount and tighten screw

Guideline
Remaining screws,
chassis M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
–
Connect positive cable

to the 12 V battery.

Info
Make sure the cable lies in the recess provided for this
next to the battery compartment.
–
Hook negative cable into the holders on the battery support
bracket.
