CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS

T SQUEEZE CUTTING LEVER
UNTIL FLAME IS ADJUSTED
Capable of cutting
metal up to 3” thick.
HOLD
torch handle in one hand and striker in the other
OPEN
acetylene torch valve 1/4 turn and quickly ignite nozzle gas with striker
OPEN
slowly the acetylene torch valve farther until flame feathers at its edge slightly
ADJUST
flame to “Neutral Flame” by adding oxygen slowly
MARK
cut line as desired on metal workpiece
PRE-HEAT
edge where starting the cut until it is red hot
PRESS
cutting lever on cutting head and guide cutting tip along marked cut line
WARNING: Do not attempt to start a cut in the middle of workpiece unless properly trained in safe methods of starting these cuts.
CLOSE
oxygen and acetylene torch valves, then fully close both cylinder valves
OPEN
both torch valves counterclockwise to allow all pressure to bleed out
TURN
pressure adjusting screws counterclockwise and remove them from regulators
SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE
*IMPORTANT!
Failure to do this may
permanently damage
the regulators.
