6.0 Final Adjustments.
A KSM oxygen controller is regulating the operating time of the screw in all different outputs to ensure
the best consumption as possible. However, to make it optimal functional there are some basis settings to
check and adjust as required.
This should only be adjusted by a KSM trained engineer.
7.0 Closing down the plant.
When closing down the stoker plant, we recommend you to follow the below procedure.
•
When giving a long press on “
↓
” the transport system stops and switches to “Emptying”
•
The boiler keeps on running
•
After a while the oxygen value increases.
•
The steering system switches to “start up”.
•
However, no more fuel is being transported to the boiler and it after expiration of the “start up
time” stops and leaves an alarm called “start up time out”.
When it has cooled off and you are sure that the fire is completely extinguished you can leave the boiler
If you need immediately stop of the boiler press one extra time on “
↓
” while the boiler is operating with
“emptying “
Please note that there is a risk of backfire as the boiler has not had the opportunity to run empty for fuel.
PLEASE NOTE:
If the plant is to remain inactive for a period, for example during the summertime, run it empty of
pellets and clean the boiler thoroughly.
