The parameters for the fire grates are not used for the XL boilers which mean chapter 4.5.3.5 including
4.5.3.13.
4.5.3.5 Fire grate 1 run time in seconds.
The fire grates are transporting the fuel to the burning chamber. If the fire grates do not run enough, there
is a risk that the fuel will accumulate in the back which results that the top stones can be pushed up and
crack.
However, if they are running to little time then is the fuel not burned properly before it reaches the end of
the boiler.
Please select:
Menu / Accessories / Scraper/Moving floor / Fire grate 1 run time s.
As standard this parameter is set to 2 seconds.
How often the fire grates shall operate depends on the next two parameters. Afterwards the controller
calculates the pause.
Fire grate number 1 – 3 is only used on boilers type XXL.
4.5.3.6 Pause w. minimum output in minutes.
It is as basis set to 30 seconds.
Please select:
Menu / Accessories / Fire grate 1 / Pause w. min. Output s.
4.5.3.7 Pause w. maximum output in seconds.
Fire grate 1 which is the fire grate closest to the stoker is the one which has to operate the most.
Please select:
Menu / Accessories / Fire grate 1 / Pause w. max. Output s.
This parameter should be set to five seconds.
4.5.3.8 Fire grate 2 run time in seconds.
The run time for the fire grate has to be minimum two seconds.
Please select:
Menu / Accessories / Fire grate 2 / Fire grate 2 run time s.
And insert 2 seconds.
