Mounting the Stop / Holding Tube

Remove the bale cloth from the swivel table and keep it in a protected place for later
reinstallation.
•
Install the stop (2) with bolts (4), washers (5), detent edged washers (6) and nuts (7) on the
right and left of the swivel table.
•
Guide the holding tube (3) through the support (15) from the outside (machine hole series of
the holding tube must point to the right as seen in direction of travel).
•
Guide the holding tube (3) through the bale turner (1) and on through the support (15) on
the other side of the swivel table.
•
Secure the holding tube (3) on the left as seen in the direction of travel with a screw (8) and
nut (9), and on the right as seen in the direction of travel with a bolt (16) and spring cotter
pin (10).

CAUTION!
Holding tube (3) secured incorrectly
Effect: Damage to the machine
Make certain that the holding tube (3) is secured on the right side (pos. a) by the screw
(9) (on the left) or spring cotter pin (10) (on the right).
Never secure the holding tube (3) through the boreholes of the supports (15).
