Installation:
For this installation, you will need the following tools: Spanner 19 for M12 nut, spanner 24 for M16 nut and adjustable spanner.
1) Loosen the 2 central screws and the flanges (
fig. 1
) with the help of the adjustment screws, so that the post can be positioned
on the metal beam.
2) After positioning the post, make an initial adjustment of the flanges (
fig. 2
).
3) Tighten the central screws (
fig. 3
) and then tighten the flanges (
fig. 4
) on the metal beam.
4) Ensure that there is no play in the direction of the forces.
To remove, loosen the central screws and the flanges and remove the post.
The anchorage point is ready to be used. Just connect the lifeline to the anchor eye (1) using a connector (EN 362). While in use,
please check regularly that the connectors are properly closed and locked.
CAUTION! NEVER connect 2 lifelines on 1 post.
