Maintenance and Prevention
Kontron Embedded Computers systems require minimal maintenance and care to
keep them operating correctly.

Clean the PxV414 – 4U Platform with light soiling with a dry cloth.
q
You should only remove stuff-necked dirt with a mild detergent and a soft
cloth.

Clean regularly the air filter mat.
Cleaning the Air Filter Mat
It is recommended that the air filter mat have to be cleaned according to the
pollution of operational environment. If the air filter mat is overly dirty, that may
cause the system overheating. If the environment is extremely dusty, clean the air
filter mat often. The air filter mat can be changed during the operating system.
To remove the air filter mat located at the front of the system, proceed as follows:

Pull forwards the air filter hood and remove the fusty filter mat.
