8.10 Installing the power supply (power brick)

Do not attempt to modify or use an AC power cord set that is not the exact type supplied. Note that the
power supply in the kit is a

.
The power supply that accompanies the Kontron OPS-compliant media player KOPS800 is the only one that should
be used. Use of any other power supply invalidates the certifications and may be dangerous.
To install the power supply (external power brick) follow these steps:
1. Attach the cord for your geography to the power supply. The power supply is external to the
KOPS-800. It is a brick style.
2. Insert the power supply plug into the power socket in the DSEK-12 as shown above.
3. Plug in the cord to the wall socket.
8.11 DSEK-12 Evaluation Software
All OS and application software that is provided with the DSEK-12 is provided as 180 day evaluations.
After that period the software must be purchased from the independent software vendor (ISV) or from
their distributors.
