Installation on the clump
Place the sensor pointing to the trawl to be the remote device for Geometry and Spread
measurements. If you want to know the spread measurement between the port door and
the clump, the down transducer element must point to the port door.If your sensor is
equipped with a geometry transponder (70 kHz lid), mount it pointing to the vessel to
measure Height, Pitch and Roll, and Battery status.
When a PX MultiSensor Mk2 is to be mounted on a trawl door or on the clump, you
need to place it in a dedicated sensor pocket.

Installation on the wing
Typical measurements from the port wing are Spread and Pitch. Typical measurements
from the starboard wing are Pitch and Height. When placed on the starboard wing the
sensor can be the remote device for the Spread measurement.
