The Scanner is designed for exclusive use in scanning images from a book or file.
Note, however, that it may not make reliable images from any of the following
types of originals.
(If a warning message appears, refer to Chapter 5 “2 Troubleshooting”.)
If any originals other than the following cannot be scanned, contact your
authorized service representative.
7.1 High-gloss originals
High quality images may not be obtained when scanning high-gloss pages such as
magazines, brochures etc.
