Forwarding Transmission
(1) General
The function to forward received documents to another FAX for printing. There are two kinds as
follows:
Auto Forwarding
The function to transmit received documents to the registered remote stations after reception (Full-
time appointment forwarding: with the same function as in the conventional machines). It is possible
to print received documents at the time of forwarding.
Mannual Forwarding
The function to forward the received documents in the print output waiting condition to the designated
remote station and to print by using a substitute machine (one time appointment). Additionally,
documents are not erased after forwarding, and reserved in the print output waiting condition.
(2) User entry item
Auto Forwarding
The following registrations are set in the key operator menu.

Remote station setting
Fax number (possible to designate one remote station using key pad.)
•
Condition setting (Forwarding FAX setting & forwarded document printing setting)
Disabled
Not forwarded (default)
Enabled 1
Forwarded and always printed
Enabled 2
Forwarded & printed only when documents are not delivered
Manual Forwarding
Move to the key operator menu and transmit received documents in the following procedure.

(3) Combination inhibit function
Auto Forwarding

Page unit reception
The forwarding mode selection menu is grayed out at the time of setting the page reception
mode.The page reception mode selection menu is grayed out at the time of setting the
forwarding mode.
Manual Forwarding (manual transfer at emergency)
•
You can not use external phones.
•
You can not designate the application function (2-in-1, polling, etc.)
•
You can not designate the document related mode (density, two-sided, etc.)
