Changing Password/Location/Closing Mailbox
If there is a need change the 4-digit password that is assigned to a confidential box or
a mailbox is to be closed for some reason, do as instructed in the following. Speed
access no. 04.
Note: A mailbox must be empty before it can be modified or closed.
To Change Password/Close Mailbox/Location

Press Menu/Exit to enter Menu.

Input speed access no. 04, wait.

Enter the number of the personal mailbox to be modified/close, press Enter.

Press Enter to select Modify.

Input 4-digit numeric password,
5' At “Close Box?”, press Enter.

Press Enter to select Modify.

Input 4-digit numeric password, press Enter.

to select Location change, press Enter.

Select the relay broadcast entry using a speed key or group number, and press
Enter to register the Location.

Press Start after you have finished changing the locations.

Press Menu/Exit to return to standby mode.
Tip: If the message “Illegal Operation” is displayed during either process, the mail-
box selected contains one or more messages and must be emptied before changes to
the mailbox can be made.
