14. Extend the boom, arm and bucket cylinders completely, as
shown in the figure, and remove the filler cap (F).
Put back the cap and pressurize the tank by lowering the
equipment to the ground.

Make sure the hydraulic tank is pressurised. If it is not pressu-
rised, the pump will suck air, affecting tool operation.
15. Close the cab floor, see "3.2.9 TILTING THE CAB FLOOR".
16. Make sure that all the control levers are in neutral position
and let the engine idle for at least 2÷3 minutes before operat-
ing the work equipment.
Move each piston more than once to deaerate the system;
check and top up if necessary.
CAUTION

Do not start the engine with empty tank, since this would
certainly damage the pump.
