13.
Locate the red and black wires on winch assembly. If they are
secured to blue cable with a plastic tie, cut the tie to allow the
wires to be routed properly. (See illustration 1
-
11).
14.
Remove the accessory front brush guard from vehicle (if
equipped).
15.
Install winch assembly onto the radiator mount with the
four M8 hex flange screws (item #3). Check that all
wires are free to move and not pinched between the
vehicle chassis and the winch assembly. Access is
easier by inserting the black and red power cables first
into window above front gearcase as shown, then
position winch motor side into bumper frame first
followed by lifting clutch free spool handle end last.

16.
Tighten the four M8 screws (item #3) to torque
specification.
