2.  Remove the shoulder straps and belts with the Drings 

from the back rest reinforcement plate.

3.  Push the two fasteners at the bottom of the seat through 

the openings in the upholstery so that they are no longer 
visible.

4.   Open  the Velcro  at  the  bottom  of  the  upholstery  and 

remove the bottom reinforcement plate (see fig. 48).

 

 The upholstery and the 5-point safety harness can now be 
washed.

6.10  Installing the 5-point safety harness and upholstery 

on the seat frame 

Install the shoulder straps and belts with the Drings in the 
back rest reinforcement plate:
1.  Guide the shoulder straps underneath the back rest 

adjustment strap (see fig. 47).

2.  Push the shoulder straps on the side of the back rest 

adjuster through the openings in the back rest 
reinforcement plate at equal heights.

  

Attention: 

Check that the shoulder straps have not been 

twisted.

3.  Push the Drings through the back rest reinforcement 

plate at the bottom.

To install the reinforcement plates:
1.   Open the Velcro at the bottom of the upholstery.
2.   Slide the bottom reinforcement plate with the fasteners 

on the side of the slits into the upholstery (see fig. 48).

3.   Check  that  the  plastic  fasteners  protrude  from  the 

designated openings in the upholstery (see fig. 46).

4.  Close the Velcro.
5.   Open the Velcro at the top of the upholstery and slide the 

reinforcement plate with the back rest adjuster into the 
opening at the back (top side)(see fig. 47).

6.   Pull the Drings for the hip straps through the slits in the 

seat at the front (bottom side) (see fig. 49).

7.  Guide the shoulder straps through the slits in the 

upholstery at the front (top side).

  

Attention: 

The shoulder straps must come out of the 

back rest at the same height.

8.   Check  that  the  back  rest  adjuster  protrudes  from  the 

designated opening.

9.   Guide  the  straps  with  the  metal  buckles  through  the 

vertical slits at the back (top side) of the upholstery (see 
fig. 50).

10. Close the Velcro at the top of the back rest.

To attach the upholstery to the seat frame:
1.   Put the seat frame down on the ground in front of you 

with the mounting points for the front brace facing up 
(see fig. 51). 

2.   Place the upholstery in the middle, with the head end on 

the side of the press studs on the seat frame and the 
strap side facing up (see fig. 51).

3.  Fasten the two press studs at the top of the upholstery to 

the seat frame (see fig. 42).

4.   Close the zip at the top of the upholstery around the seat 

frame (see fig. 8).

5.  Guide the straps with the metal buckles at the back 

through the loop on the upholstery, each on one side, 
then through the slit in the upholstery, then around the 
frame tube and through the metal buckle (see fig. 43).

6.   Close the zips and press studs on both sides.

To install the leg rest frame:
1.   Squeeze the leg rest release and place the leg rest frame 

with the leg rest release facing down between the 
openings at the bottom of the seat (see fig. 52).

2.    Pull the metal buckle of the crotch strap through the slit 

at the bottom of the seat.

3.   Fold the crotch strap around the leg rest frame and guide 

the cover through the metal buckle (see fig. 46d).

4.  Slide the leg rest frame into the compartment at the 

bottom of the upholstery.

5.   Check that the leg rest protrudes from the opening in the 

upholstery (see fig. 46c).

6.  Push the leg rest frame into the plastic fasteners of the 

bottom reinforcement plate that protrude from the 
upholstery (see fig. 46a).

To install the 5-point safety harness:
1.  Thread the side of the hip strap without strap clip 

through the Drings at the front of the seat.

2.    Fasten the strap clip to the end of the hip strap, following 

the example of the strap clip that is still attached.

3.    Attach  the  shoulder  straps  to  the  hip  straps 

(see fig. 44).

4.  Give all belts a gentle tug to check they are securely 

attached.

5.   Attach the safety front brace and if desired the canopy.
