Basic Operation
5.9.2 Fish alarm
The Fish Alarm is an audio alarm, which is activated when fish echoes enter a predetermined depth
range or fulfill the predetermined threshold in terms of its signal intensity and length. Pressing any key
on the operation panel can silence the alarm. Further detection of echoes will activate the alarm again.

Setting procedure
Setting the Upper and Lower Fish Alarms:
(1) Press the MENU key to show the main menu.
(2) Press the up or down key to highlight FISH ALARM.
(3) Press the right arrow key to show FISH ALARM ON/OFF.
(4) Press the up or down arrow key to select FISH ALARM ON.
(5) Press the right arrow key to show UPPER FISH ALARM.
(6) Press the right arrow key to show the depth value window for UPPER FISH ALARM.
(7) Press the up or down arrow key to enter the MSB depth value.
(8) Press the right arrow key to shift the digit and again press the up or down arrow key to enter the
LSB depth value.
In a similar manner, set the Lower Fish Alarm.
When finished, the Fish Alarm bar will be set to indicate upper and lower alarm limit.
