5.7.2 Setting the Auto Shift function
(1) To display Auto Shift image, first select AUTO SHIFT in the menu. The word AUTO SHIFT will
appears on the upper side of the screen.
(2) Press the SHIFT key to display Auto Shift image.
(3) To cancel Auto Shift mode, press the SHIFT key again.
When the seabed depth becomes
shallower than 40% or, deeper than
90% of the full depth scale, the entire
image will be reset to 65% of the
scale.

5.8 Using the Color Rejection function
To reduce unwanted echoes like boat noise, marine life, those shown in weaker colors like pale blue,
pale green, etc. use this function. Sonar echoes in specific colors may be reduced, causing the image
to become clearer.
(1) Press the COLOR REJ key. The Color Rej pop-up window will appear.
(2) Press the up or down arrow key to select colors to be rejected from color palette. A blue small
square mark moves up or down according to the key entry.
