Weekly maintenance
procedures
Maintenance procedures that should be performed weekly include
cleaning the exposure lamp housings, the mirrors and cleaning the
cabinet.
Cleaning the exposure
lamp housings
The upper and lower exposure lamp housings should be cleaned
weekly.
1. Open the right-side access door.
2. Remove the upper and lower imaging guides (between the upper
and lower exposure lamp housings — not shown in this illustration).
IMPORTANT:
Use care when handling the imaging guides. Hold
the imaging guides by the green handles only .

3. Remove the lower exposure lamp housing.
4. Vacuum the housing.
5. Replace the lower exposure lamp housing.
6. Remove the upper exposure lamp housing.
7. Vacuum the housing.
8. Replace the upper exposure lamp housing.
9. Replace the upper and lower imaging guides.
10. Close the right-side access door.
