14. Draining Hydraulic System Pressure – FIGURE
2.15A
A new convenient feature is now incorporated in the
mechatronics system of the Dynamic Acera minor
change excavators to help the operator release the
system pressure in the hydraulic system directly from
the operator’s cab for machine service or to switch
auxiliary attachments. Proceed as follows to release
hydraulic system pressure:
a.
With engine running and attachment placed on the
ground and the throttle potentiometer at low idle,
press and hold the screen change switch (
)
and the buzzer stop switch (
) simultaneously
for at least 5 seconds. (See Figure 2.15A) . The
engine speed will switch to low idle and the moni-
tor display will show “

”, and the moni-
tor alarm will sound intermittently.(
Alarm is nor-
mal condition

and the monitor alarm sounds continuously, turn the
ignition switch to the OFF position to shut down the
engine. The alarm will quit sounding and the monitor
display will disappear 4 seconds after the key switch is
turned OFF. Repeat the process again starting from
step

.
Do not attempt to service the machine or switch auxil-
iary attachments without releasing the hydraulic sys-
tem pressure.

Operate all control levers, corresponding to the
circuits required including Travel and Auxiliaries,
several times to release the system pressure.
