Beware of hot surfaces
If a cooking zone is still too hot to be touched after use, this is
indicated by an on the display that disappears again when
the surface has cooled to a safe temperature.
This can also be used as an energy saving function:
If you want to heat further cookware, use the hot plate.

To turn off the appliance, press the ON/OFF–button
.
Now the hob switches into stand-by-mode.
Alternative for only one cooking zone:
• Touch the selection button of the cooking zone you want
to turn off.
•
Switch off the cooking zone by sliding the slider to „0“.
Make sure that the display shows „0“!
6.3 When you have finished cooking
You can use the booster function to maximize the power
of a cooking zone for 5 minutes.
Ativate the booster function
1.
Touch the selection control for the desird cooking zone.
2.
Slide the slider to

or touch the
B
position.
The power setting will be maximized and the zone indicator will
display .
After 5 minutes the power is automatically switched to level 14.
Cancel the booster function
1.
Touch the selection control for the desired zone.
2.
Slide the slider to your target power level.
