5 Maintenance
5.15 Periodic replacement of safety parts
In order to ensure normal and safe operation,
operator shall carry out periodic inspection and
maintenance, and also replacement of some
safety parts. Such periodic inspection and
maintenance is very important to those wearing
parts whose materials may degenerate as the
time goes by. For the wearing or aging parts,
check them and replace any worn ones to keep
their safety functions even there’s no failure
being found. In case that any abnormity is found
and the replacement time is undue, repair or
replace the defective one immediately.

5.16 Maintenance for long-term storage
In case of long ◆ -term stop, keep as per the
following requirements:
1. Clean and blow each parts and keep them in
dry room; do not leave them in the open air. If
they have to be put outside, select a smooth
ground and cover all seats.
2. Prevent leakage while filling oil, applying
grease and replacing engine oil.
3. Apply sufficient grease on exposed part of
piston rod of hydraulic cylinder.
4. Remove the battery and keep in good
condition.
5. Add antifreeze or drain out cooling water if the
temperature is below 0 .

6. Start up engine and move the vehicle in a short
distance, operate working device to make
lubricant reach each part in a monthly manner.
7. Charge the battery
Following the operation below for reuse after

long-term shut down
1. Clean up lubricating grease on connecting rod
of hydraulic cylinder.
2. Start up engine and carry out trial-run of
working device and travelling crane without
loading. Make sure lubricant reach each part.
5.17 Check of electrical wiring and use of fuse
Disconnection and damage as well as of
performance reduction of wiring may be caused
by loosened terminal. And then short circuit,
creepage or burning may occur. Replace it in
advance, and repair the damage wire. Metal wires
are not allowed for substitute of fuse in case of
trip. Ask designated service company to carry out
inspection and maintenance.
■ Fuse replacement
1. Cut off starting switch before fuse replacement.
2. Remove cover of fuse case and replace the
fuse with a new one with same capacitance.
