If a text file contains environment-dependent characters, it cannot be viewed,
edited or operated with this unit.
final undo
The characters entered are confirmed by pressing the enter key.
Immediately after finalisation, the ctrl + backspace key can be pressed to return
the character to its unfinalised state.

A confirm undo can be performed multiple times, as long as another operation is
not performed immediately after the confirm, such as moving the cursor or
pressing the enter key.
