About the built-in battery
Batteries have a life span. If charging does not restore functionality, the battery has
reached the end of its service life and needs to be replaced and repaired. Continued use
of a deteriorated battery may cause rupture, ignition or heat generation. Note that the
service life depends on the conditions of use.
Do not remove or replace the battery by yourself. For battery replacement, contact your dealer
or our Customer Service Department.
The battery is a consumable item. If the battery continues to be used as it is when its
charging performance is degraded, it may suddenly switch off, resulting in failure to write
or read data, loss of memory contents or malfunction.
Charge the battery before use for the first time or if it has not been used for a long time.
If the battery is not used for a long period of time, store it away from high temperatures
and humidity. Also, charge the battery once every 3-5 months to prevent it from
deteriorating.
As a general characteristic, the performance of batteries is reduced at low temperatures.
When using the unit in a low temperature environment, keep the unit cool.
