Repair of defective noise source

Repair by the user is not recommended because of the complex equipment

required for test and calibration. However, a number of replacement parts are

available for customers with repair and calibration capabilities. See

“Replaceable

Parts”

on page 42.

NOTE

If the Keysight SNS series smart noise source is opened and parts are replaced, it

requires re-calibration.

CAUTION

Disassemble the noise source only in a static-free work area. Electrostatic

discharge can damage the noise source.
