Using the Probe
Alligator Ground Lead
Use the alligator ground lead to reach circuit grounding points that are farther
away from the probing location than can be reached by the ground spring.
Because the longer lead increases the inductance in the ground return path, this
solution results in slightly lower performance than using the ground spring.

BNC Adapter
The BNC adapter connects the probe tip to a BNC (female) connector. Insert the
probe’s tip into the adapter as shown in
Figure 6
