6.3.3 Preparing the station for maintenance, draining
• Close the intake and ensure that no wastewater can flow in
• Pump the station empty, for this either
- fill with water until pump 1 starts. Turn off the water intake, the pump will run until the level „minimum“ is reached
or
Attention: Danger of material damages! Pump must not run dry
- Use the control unit (manual control) to control the pump until the wastewater container is empty.
• Cut the power supply to the station and secure against accidental activation.
• If present, close the shut-off valve in the pressure pipe.
• Empty the pressure pipe, put the ventilation unit (as described hereafter, all backflow protection devices present)
in the OPEN position, the water flows from the pressure pipe into the wastewater container.
• Return the ventilation unit to the CLOSED position.
Plastic fitting
Ventilation unit OPEN:
Control lever in position <23>.
Ventilation unit CLOSED:
Control lever in position <24>.
Grey cast iron fitting
Ventilation unit OPEN:
Adjusting bolt in position <23>.
Ventilation unit CLOSED:
Adjusting bolt in position <24>.
