EN – Installation instructions
The radiator must only be installed by a heat-
ing engineer.
Safety instructions

Read these instructions thoroughly prior to
installation/start-up.

After installation,
pass the instructions on
to the end user

WARNING
Risk of injury!
►
Note the weight of the radiator (see
manufacturer's data).
►
At 25 kg and above, the work should be
carried out with lifting equipment or by
several persons.
Conditions of use
►
Observe the operating conditions for wa
-
ter heating installations as defined in
DIN 18380 "VOB German Contract Proce
-
dures for building services".
►
Maintain water quality as defined in
VDI 2035 "Prevention of damage in water
heating installations".
►
Observe the limitations for use in damp
rooms as defined in DIN 55900 "Coatings
for radiators".
►
Use the radiator only in closed heating sys-
tems.
►
Store and transport the radiator only in the
protective packaging.
►
Observe the minimum clearances between
radiator and surrounding objects to allow
air circulation.
Complaints
►
Please contact the supplier.
Disposal
►
Packaging and any parts that are not need-
ed should be recycled or disposed of prop-
erly. Observe local regulations.

Operating pressure: max. 10 bar

Test pressure: 1.3 x operating pressure

Flow temperature: hot water up to 110 °C
(230 °F)
Directions for installation
Preparatory activities (see Fig. 1–2)
►
Get the required tools ready.
►
When installing, remove the protective
packaging only at the fixing and connec
-
tion points.
Fixing
►
Note the number and positions of fixing
points (see Fig. A).
►
Fit the mounting material according to the
separate installation instructions.
Note:
with the short wall bracket (two-row
installation), the two securing screws on the
lower brackets are not required.
Adjust the remote dial (see Fig. 3–4)
►
On the front of the radiator, align the con
-
trol dial in the joint. Ensure that there is a
uniform gap.
►
Tighten the nuts.
►
Ensure that there are no kinks in the capil-
lary.
Connection (see Fig. 5–6)
The connections are identified by glue dots:
•
Flow (VL): red
•
Return (RL): blue
►
Insert the radiator in the brackets using the
centre clip pair.
►
Connect the radiator on the water side us
-
ing the flexible hoses.
Hang the radiator and secure it (see Fig. 7–9)
►
Insert the radiator in the brackets using the
upper and lower clip pair.
►
Check that the clips are correctly seated in
all brackets.
►
Align the radiator.
►
On the upper brackets, clamp the lift-off
protection and slide locks over the radiator
clips.
►
Cover the radiator completely with the pro
-
tective packaging.
►
Only remove the protective packaging
completely for the final cleaning or before
start-up.
Start-up
►
Fill and vent the radiator.
Risk of scalding!
►
Check the radiator and connections for
leaks.
