CALIBRATION EXIT (VXI
plug&play
DEMO)
NOTE: Clicking the Calibrate
Close
button on the VXI main panel will exit calibration WITH-
OUT saving any calibration data.
1. Click the
SAVE CALIBRATION
button on the calibration window to save this calibration.
2. The Calibration window automatically closes and the Virtual Model window automatically
opens.
3. The virtual model settings can be changed after the password has been properly entered.
4. NOTE: The virtual model is always reset following calibration. If voltage calibration is com-
pleted (regardless of whether or not current calibration is completed), the virtual model volt-
age is set for maximum rated voltage, and current is set to the value corresponding to 1200
Watts. If a current calibration is completed, but no Voltage calibration, the virtual model cur-
rent will be set for maximum rated current and voltage is set to the value corresponding to
1200 Watts.

CHANGING THE CALIBRATION PASSWORD
The 4-digit Unit password is required for to enter calibration mode. The factory default Unit
password is listed in Table 4-1. To change the password from the front panel proceed as follows:
1. If the status display shows
SET
, tap either the
CURRENT
or
VOLTAGE
controls to take the
unit out of setpoint mode (status display goes from
SET
to blank)
2. Using two thin tools, while holding the
PROTECT
switch in, tap the
FUNCTION
switch once.
Status display reads
PASS.
NOTE: The
FUNCTION
switch must be actuated within two seconds, i.e., before
PROT
appears in the status display. To exit this procedure without changing the password,
rotate the
VOLTAGE
control.
3. Tap the
DC OUTPUT
switch. Status display reads
OLD?
.
4. Rotate the
CURRENT
control until
DC AMPERES
display shows old password. Tap the
DC
OUTPUT
switch to enter. Status display shows
NEW?.
