STORING ODD-SPLIT REPEATER FREQUENCIES
Some repeaters use a receive and transmit frequency
pair with a non-standard offset. If you store two separate
frequencies in a memory channel, you can operate on
those repeaters without programming an offset
frequency and direction.

Select the desired receive frequency and related data
using steps 1 to 4 given for simplex or standard
repeater frequencies.

select the desired memory channel.

odd-split memory channel.
STORING SIMPLEX FREQUENCIES OR STANDARD
REPEATER FREQUENCIES

Select the desired band.

To store a standard repeater frequency, select the
following data:
• Offset direction {page 27}
• Tone ON, if necessary {page 28}
• Tone frequency, if necessary {page 28}
To store a simplex frequency, you may select other
related data (CTCSS ON, CTCSS frequency, etc.).

• A memory channel number appears and blinks.
• “ ” indicates the current channel is empty while “ ”
indicates the channel contains data.
