TROUBLE SHOOTING
●
Checking the signal output from
the ASIC by software control
Points to be checked
Normal voltage
SBC R822
3.3V
When an abnormal
value is confirmed.
When a normal
value is confirmed.
When a normal
value is confirmed.
●
Panel control (Control unit)
Points to be checked Normal
voltage
SB D506
13.2V
Points to be checked
Normal voltage
/DRST TP992
3.3V
Checking voltage
Points to be checked
Normal voltage
VCC IC1 (2 pin)
5.0V
If the SBC is 3.3V and SB Q3 (pin 2) side is 13.2V or
more, the BGA parts are not broken.
If the /DRST is 0V, the ASIC/FLASH/SRAM are broken.
Remove R822. If the ASIC side is 0V,
the ASIC/FLASH/SRAM may be broken.
Points to be checked
Normal voltage
/PRST Q203 (Gate)
3.3V
●
Panel control (KCH-14 or 15)
Remove Q203. If the ASIC side is 0V,
the ASIC/FLASH/SRAM may be broken.

Checking the clock/reset
Points to be checked
Normal voltage
Xout R25
14.7456MHz (5.0V)
/PRST L2
5.0V
When a normal
value is confirmed.
Checking the Control signal
Points to be checked
Normal voltage
DISP C40 (Signal side)
0V
CE R47 (Signal side)
5.0V−0V−5.0V
When a normal
value is confirmed.
It is unlikely that the BGA parts are broken.
When an abnormal
value is confirmed.
When an abnormal
value is confirmed.
The BGA parts are not broken.
IC1 may be broken.
When an abnormal
value is confirmed.
When an abnormal
value is confirmed.
When an abnormal
value is confirmed.
If nothing is displayed even after replacing the
KCH-14 or 15, the BGA may be broken.
The panel microcomputer receives a request of LCD
display from the ASIC. Then, the LCD displays.
The DISP and CE signal become abnormal if
communication is disabled due to a trouble in
the ASIC.
When an abnormal
value is confirmed.
●
When an error display appears on the LCD.
The LCD displays “INIT ERROR1”.
An error occurs when the ASIC internal RAM reads
or writes. The ASIC may be broken.
The LCD displays “INIT ERROR2”.
An error occurs when the DSP internal RAM reads
or writes. The DSP may be broken.
The LCD displays “INIT ERROR3”.
An error occurs when the SRAM internal RAM
reads or writes. The SRAM may be broken.
