The electric blanket can be washed in a domestic washing machine (size
permitting) or by a commercial laundry.
•  Set the control to the OFF position and remove the plug from the wall outlet.
•  Detach the controllers, as described on the previous page.

 Do not let the

controllers come into contact with water!

•  If the blanket fits into your washer, wash it on the “Wool” or “Delicates” cycle

with a neutral detergent or mild soap, up to maximum 40°C.

•  Dry the blanket as described below.

Air drying

•  Drape the electric blanket across a clothes line and drip dry.
•  Do not use pegs to secure the blanket in position.
•  Do not dry the blanket with a hair dryer or heater.

Tumble drying

•  Tumble dry your blanket on LOW setting for 15 minutes

maximum.

•  Smooth the blanket by gently pulling any creases out of the fabric.
•  Do not dry the  blanket with the controllers connected to the blanket.

IMPORTANT!

•  Ensure the blanket is completely dry before use and reconnection of the con-

trollers –

do not switch the blanket on when it is still wet in order to dry it faster.

•  Do not iron the blanket.

Storage

•  Make sure the electric blanket is entirely dry and has cooled down completely

before storage. Detach the controllers from the blanket when storing. Pack the
blanket in its original packaging for best protection and store it in a cool, clean
and dry location. Fold or roll the blanket up loosely to prevent sharp creases.
Store the blanket where no objects will be placed upon it.

•  Alternatively, detach and store the controllers during the summer months

while leaving the blanket on the bed as a comfortable underblanket.

IMPORTANT!

•  Do not wash the blanket on a hot cycle, the temperature must be below 40°C

.

•  Do not use a high spin speed or extra spin cycles. Do not wring.
