1.6.1 Connection example, servo drive for A-Valve
Open the page of the considered channel. The channel number is shown in the designation field (see Fig. 1-3, a))
and the This can be identified by the side designation (see Fig.:1-3 a) and the field for the description of the
servo drive (see Fig.:1-3 b). Both connection facilities are shown on the sides of the valves; the one for servo
drives Type A, Fig. 68600, and the servo drives with spring reset, Type B and C, Fig. 68601 (see Fig.:1-3 d). In our
example, a servo drive type Fig. 68600 is being used (see Fig.:1-3 c). The servo drive must be connected in
accordance with the representation in the left half of the picture, resp. as listed in Table 2. The means the blue
(bu) and the red (rd) conductor on a free terminal block with the designation 24L-, the brown (bn) conductor on
a free terminal block 24L+. In this example the black (bk) conductor must be applied to Module terminal A231/1
(see Fig:1-3 e) and the grey (gr) conductor on Module terminal A331/1 (see Fig.:1-3 f).
Please be sure to check the terminal assignments before commissioning. If the vertical channels are mixed up
when connecting a servo drive, e.g. A231/1 and A331/2, the control will not work correctly and the mode of
functioning of the hygiene system is not guaranteed. For that reason, it is recommended to test the settings and
the terminal assignments with the "Manual" operating mode. For an exact description of the "Manual"
operating mode and on the related configuration mask please refer to Chapters 3.1.7 to 3.1.11.
