Checking the quarter turn stop valve actuators

You must check the positioning of the actuators on the spindle.
This is to ensure that the valves close exactly tight in the zero
position and that the supply water is metered accurately.
On the controller, in the item Operating modes, set the
plant to Standby/OFF.
The motors close completely. Make sure that
the motors close fully as far as they will go.
The notch on the spindle is now horizontal.

The positioning can be changed by loosening
the two fastening nuts.
The fastening nuts must be checked even if the positioning
is not changed.
