The FK-5 break tank station must be maintained frequently:

• To meet normative requirements, i.e. maintenance    

   intervals and activities are prescribed according to EN 806-5.

• For safe and economical operation of the break tank station.

• For safety of use and operation.

• For an extended service life of the system components.

Installation and use

Read the manual carefully before installation or use and follow the 

instructions. 

Pass these instructions on to the operator and retain for later refer-

ence!

Warning! 

Installation and maintenance is to be done only by com-

petent and qualified professionals qualified for plumbing. 

Electrical installation must be performed by a qualified electrician!

Use only original/approved spare parts since otherwise no warranty 

claims will be recognized.

A copy of the completed maintenance protocol must be passed on 

to the operator (see appendix).

Warning! 

Priority must be given to the national standards and 

provisions on plumbing and health and safety.

Warning! 

Non-compliance with these instructions in the course of 

assembly, use and maintenance can endanger proper operation and 

lead to substantial damage to health through mixing drinking water 

with non-potable water.

Indicates hazards that may result in injury, material 

damage or contamination of drinking water.

Note 

Indicates hazards that may result in malfunctions or

Damage to property due to improper use and/or 

unsuitable tools

Improper use and/or unsuitable tools can result in damage to 

property (e.g. due to water leakage)! When tightening or loosening 

screw connections, always use suitable open-ended wrench or pliers 

wrench. To avoid leaks, make sure that no mechanical stress arises 

in the pipelines and components.

Danger!

 When working on live components, it is essen-

tial to de-energize the plant.

Note 

Before working on the controller, ensure that you 

are not electrostatically charged.

For maintenance on the plant, please refer in particular to EN 806 

Part 5. We recommend commissioning a trained specialist company 

with the regular maintenance work.

 Warning!

 Always wear the following personal protective  

                 equipment in the vicinity of the unit:

• 

close-fitting clothing (no wide sleeves, rings, etc.)

• safety shoes to protect against heavy falling     

   parts and slipping on slippery surfaces.

When ordering spare parts from wholesalers, be sure to specify:

• device type

• series/production no.

• part no./article number (see spare parts list in the appendix)

• quantity

• designation

• shipping address

• sketch or photo with remarks, if appropriate.

Liability

No warranty or liability can be accepted in case of: 

• non-observance of the instructions 

• incorrect installation and/or operation 

• 

unauthorised modification of the product 

• other improper methods of operation.

Disposal:  

Local regulations on waste recycling and disposal must 

be followed. The product must not be disposed of with 

household waste but must be disposed of properly.
